Becoming a New Customer

Superior Energy, LLC is a premier propane service provider because we offer comfort, convenience and affordability to our customers. Becoming an Superior Energy, LLC customer is easy and hassle-free. If you are interested in joining our satisfied customers, you'll follow some or all of these general steps:

Step 1: Initial Contact
Call 860-875-6221 or 1-800-242-0427 to initiate a Superior Energy, LLC new customer process. Over the phone, a Superior Energy, LLC representative will determine if we provide service in your area and also provide details on our new customer introductory special.

Step 2: Determining Your Propane Service Needs
Propane services vary based on the customer's situation, but here are some general guidelines:

  • Superior Energy, LLC tank already at your location - If you currently have a Superior Energy, LLC tank at your location, we'll schedule an appointment to conduct a system safety check and activate your propane service. Your first delivery will follow shortly thereafter.

  • Switching suppliers - If you are switching from another propane supplier to Superior Energy, LLC, we'll schedule an appointment to install a Superior Energy, LLC tank at your location, conduct a system safety check and activate your propane service. Your first delivery will follow shortly thereafter. The entire transition can be completed with only a temporary interruption to your propane service.

  • Switching energy sources - If you are switching from another energy source to propane, we'll schedule an appointment for a site survey. During this appointment, a Superior Energy, LLC representative will help you determine your propane needs and provide necessary information on how propane can meet your energy requirements more efficiently and affordably.

  • New construction - If you are building a new home, addition, or pool, we'll schedule a site survey to determine the tank needs, location and other pertinent data. Your new installation will be in working order prior to move-in day.

  • Customer-owned tank - If you own the propane tank at your location, we'll conduct a system safety check before making the first delivery to your location.

In most areas, Superior Energy, LLC representatives are also available to come to your home and help you determine your home's furnace, water heater, and/or propane appliance needs. In many cases, Superior Energy, LLC can provide installation services and appliances for purchase. We can also refer you to reliable local contractors and dealers for appliance purchases and installation of new propane appliances.

Step 3: New Service Agreement
When you decide to become a Superior Energy, LLC customer, you'll sign a Propane Supply Agreement before setting up service.

Step 4: Determining Your Delivery and Payment Options
Superior Energy, LLC offers several delivery and payment options to meet your needs. We'll mail you the necessary agreements or you can stop in the office and speak with a Superior Energy, LLC representative. Plans include Pre-Buy, SmartPay Budget Plan and Automatic Delivery.
